12.11.19 at 3.00pm – Seminar Wiley Online Library for finding research papers to read and journals to publish your own works

Dear Professors and Students!

You are invited to visit Seminar “Wiley Online Library for finding research papers to read and journals to publish your own works” 12.11.2019 at 3.00pm. Seminar will be held in English.
Location: To be announced

Publication of research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals is one of the most pressing problems in science today. Despite the scale of the research, the number of publications by Kazakhstani authors in international journals still lags behind world figures. Often the reason for this practice is the lack of experience in writing articles or the lack of a balanced approach to the preparation of a manuscript for publication and the choice of a journal. These very issues will be addressed at the workshop delivered by Wiley – one of the oldest and largest academic publishers in the world. The seminar will address the main issues of scientific communication, including aspects of writing scientific articles and interaction with the editors of scientific journals based on Wiley experience.

Duration: 1,5 h.

Speaker:

Mr. Sergey Paramonov, PhD

Senior Regional Representative in Russia and CIS

Seminar will be held in English
