Requests for electronic books for the individual use (meaning, attached to the personal email, with DRM protection, VitalSource for Kindle, etc.) is impossible. Please ask the librarian.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How do I register at the library and get an e-reader card number?<\/b><\/div>
\n

All first-year students automatically get registered in the library. It is necessary to send a request with the name and surname to the e-mail address \u2014 abonement@kazguu.kz to get the number of the electronic library card.<\/p>\n

Find the necessary books in the EC and click \u2018Select for order\u2019. To complete the order, follow the link to \u2018Selected books\u2019 in My Account and click \u2018Order\u2019.

Here’s the algorithm.<\/p>\n

On the library’s website, go to the electronic catalogue (top, left). Authorise in the electronic catalogue by clicking on the \u2018Login\u2019 button (top, right). Find the necessary book in the Electronic Catalogue. If there is a digitised copy in the bibliographic description, there will be a link \u2014 Electronic Document. Type: PDF. Size.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>How to use the electronic catalogue (EC)?<\/b><\/div>
T<\/p>\n

The link to the EC is located on the library’s website<\/a>\u00a0(in the mobile version \u2014 in the menu). In order to get started, select the Database (DB) to search (books, articles, dissertations, or works of MNU faculty) and the type of search (simple, advanced, dictionary, cross-cutting). After selecting the search type, the search window appears.
\nThe EC provides the composition and content of the library’s collection of printed, audiovisual and electronic documents.<\/p>\n

The EC reflects the content of books and other sources, includes additional descriptions by annotation and keywords, and adds information about organisations, geographical objects, personalities, years of publication, ISBNs, etc.). Moreover, EC reflects the address of the book. The user can work with the EC at any convenient time and in any convenient place via <\/b>the library’s website<\/b><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Come to the subscription service, receive confirmation that the book is lost, and then get information about the cost of the book in the acquisition department. There are three options \u2014 1) searching for lost books, 2) paying the fine, 3) bringing a new book of the latest edition for replacement, as agreed with the acquisition department.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n
