\nTopic: The publication process in detail <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thesis: <\/span><\/span><\/strong>The webinar will cover the purpose and objectives of publishing a scientific article and why publishing in journals indexed in Web of Science helps a scientist’s career.<\/span><\/span> How to choose articles for publication, what to pay attention to, what metrics exist, where to look for them, what additional identifiers can be found in Journal Citation Reports.<\/span><\/span> Business models of journals and the opportunity to publish for free.<\/span><\/span> We will analyze the unfair methods used by fraudsters who manipulate the features of open access and the gullibility and ignorance of scientists to offer publications in predatory publications, causing irreparable harm to the reputation of the scientist and his organization.<\/span><\/span> We will check the index of the journal in the Master Journal List.<\/span><\/span> We will answer questions from the registration forms.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nTopic: Scientific publication <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thesis:<\/strong> During the webinar\u00a0 will be analyzed the types of scientific publications, thinked about when it is worth starting to write an article, how the Web of Science platform can help us in the presentation of our results, consider the structure of a scientific article, the main blocks and their functions, analyze the formats for the design of the bibliography and the EndNote reference manager, which helps to quickly and correctly format the list of references according to the format of the selected publication or a given style.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 During webinar we will discuss why ResearcherID and ORCID author profiles are necessary, how to create and keep them up to date, what (cannot) be presented, what metrics are available, what they indicate. How and why to evaluate the publication activity of a scientist and an organization, how these profiles are related.<\/span><\/span> Answers to questions from the registration forms on the topic of the webinar<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Research institutions, grantors and government organizations support the open exchange of ideas and promote collaboration, contributing to the growth and development of global science.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The webinar will discuss how to assess, identify, find potential collaborations, improve the visibility of your own achievements, and remove possible barriers. A new indicator, Collab-CNCI, will be presented, which will help identify a more effective type of collaboration<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
