August 19

Topic: Organization Profile in Web of Science

Abstract: Historically, organizations can change their name and subordination, and authors can incorrectly translate the name of an organization or indicate abbreviations, thereby making it impossible to automatically obtain correct statistics on the organization’s publication activities. Analysis of the organization’s achievements is important not only for reports to the academy and the ministry, but also for scientists when searching for the best places to work and collaborate, forming a strategy for scientific activity, and obtaining grants. In this webinar we will look at why an organization needs to have a profile, what it should include, who can apply to edit a profile, how to find variants of an organization’s name in the Web of Science Core Collection, and how to analyze an organization’s activities using InCites data. Answers to questions from registration forms
