Topic:  Citations, links and their importance for scientists and science

Abstract: The webinar will discuss how citations appeared and why they are necessary in the scientific world, what they indicate and how they can be used. We will analyze citations of works indexed in Web of Science, consider related publications and analyze citations of non-indexed literature. We will discuss indicators and metrics related to citations, and consider whether it is possible to influence the indicators.
