EBSCO company invites you to a series of webinars to be held in November 2025. All webinars are free and conducted in Russian language. Each  webinar lasts approximately one hour. November 13, 12:00 PM (Astana time) – Accessing and Using Full-Text Electronic Journal Collections on the EBSCOhost Platform in Your Organization’s Research, Practice, and Educational Activities

During this hands-on session, we’ll explore the user interface of the EBSCOhost platform, which houses numerous electronic journal collections from global publishers. You’ll learn how to access EBSCO resources available at your organization, how to conduct basic and advanced searches, what search terminators and expanders you can use when working with search results, how and why to use subject headings, how to check for journal availability on the platform, and how to set up notifications about new issues.

A practical session where you will learn how to use EBSCO Connect to work with resources. We will cover how to create an EBSCO search box for placement on the library website, how to create URLs to resources, and what additional applications exist that will make the EBSCO resources available at your institution more visible

During this hands-on session, we’ll explore the functions of the EBSCOhost platform powered by artificial intelligence, how to improve search with AI, and how to work with additional tools, such as creating a personal account to save documents and search histories on the platform, citing documents in different formats, creating topic alerts and new issue alerts, and exporting bibliographic data to programs such as Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote.
