Topic: Why Structured Research Data Matters: Building Robust Search, Discovery, and Analysis Systems

May 26

Abstract: As the volume and complexity of global scientific publications grows, the structure and classification of scientific data is becoming a strategic foundation for reliable search, evaluation, and decision making.Poorly structured or inconsistently classified research data can lead to incomplete results, misleading analytics, and flawed comparisons—even if the analysis appears technically sound.

This webinar examines why rigorous data processing, robust classifications, and rich metadata are essential for generating meaningful research insights. Specific examples will be presented of how weak or incomplete data structures can distort citation analysis, benchmarking, collaboration metrics, and performance assessments.

Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Astana time)
