EBSCO company invites you to take part in the webinar series which will be held in November. All webinars are free and conducted in Russian lunguage. Each webinar lasts about 1 hour. You can find the webinar schedule in the message text and at this link https://ebsco-russian.zoom.us/calendar/search

During this practical lesson will be reviewed the user interface of the EBSCOhost platform, which contains numerous collections of electronic journals from global publishers. You will learn about the new features and tools, how to access EBSCO resources available in our organization, how to conduct a basic and advanced search, what limiters and expanders you can use when working with search results, how and why to use subject headings, how to check the availability of a journal on the platform and set up notifications about the appearance of new issues

A practical lesson during which you will learn how to use EBSCO Connect working with resources. We will consider how an EBSCO search window can be created for its subsequent placement on the library website, how URL links to resources are created, what additional applications exist that will make EBSCO resources available in your organization more visible
November 22, 3:00PM (Astana time) – EBSCOhost® Tools Useful for Writing Research Papers
During this practical lesson, you will learn how effectively use the features available on the EBSCOhost platform, such as: saving articles to the cloud on Google Drive, citing an article, saving search history, creating and using a personal My EBSCOhost account, saving results to a folder, the ability to share selected information with your colleagues, creating alerts, exporting bibliographic data to programs such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote
November 25, 12:00PM (Astana time) – How to promote electronic resources in your organization (for librarians only)
During this webinar, you will learn why it is necessary to promote electronic resources, what benefits the library gets from this, how to increase the visibility of resources and awareness of resources, the importance of access points to resources

During this webinar, you will learn how to use the EBSCOhost platform to select a journal for publication, in practice you will see where and how to get the information needed to prepare an article, and also, using the example of articles on the EBSCOhost platform, will be considered the basic requirements for the design of your publication
